Dr. Eric Sun

Dr. Eric Sun was born in Lafayette, Indiana, and moved to Bellevue, Washington when he was one year old where he spent most of his life growing up. He went on to study at Duke University (Go Blue Devils!) where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in biomedical engineering. After realizing that his heart lay with the Pacific Northwest, he returned to complete his dental degree at the University of Washington School of Dentistry.

Dr. Sun is thrilled to be in Olympia and a part of the team at Smiles4Kids. His top priority is to make sure patients feel welcomed and cared for in a gentle and calm environment and he strives to provide excellent oral health care for his patients. Dr. Sun loves working with children, and he looks forward to creating a lifetime of healthy smiles for your child!

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sun enjoys spending quality time with his family baking, painting by numbers, and trying new food. He is an ardent Seahawks fan and rarely misses a game. He is also passionate about the outdoors and can frequently be found backpacking and hiking through Washington’s many beautiful mountains or visiting national parks around the country. Most recently, he completed a 93-mile circuit of the Wonderland Trail which circles the base of Mt. Rainier, and he is always on the lookout for his next adventure!
